General information about our terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the purchases and orders made between Heli Kauhanen and the customer. The products are sold to private customers over the age of 18 and to companies in Finland and in selected countries within the EU and oversees. Heli Kauhanen reserves the right to amend and update these terms and conditions if necessary. These terms and conditions came into force on 1 May 2013.
When placing an order, the customer commits to the terms and conditions in force at the time. The customer can choose to either register or not register before placing an order.
Heli Kauhanen uses Finnish postal service Suomen Posti to send all orders. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the address details provided are correct.
Dispatch and delivery time
Orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days. Delivery in Finland takes 2-4 working days. Delivery abroad takes 5-12 working days, and the dispatch time is 1-3 working days. The quoted dispatch times do not refer to commissioned goods, or non-stock items. Items that are not in stock take 7-14 days to dispatch.
Heli Kauhanen reserves the right to cancel or amend the order if there are unexpected problems with the order. In such a case, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Delivery costs depend on the total of the order. Heli Kauhanen pays the delivery costs for orders that exceed €150. For purchases under €150, the delivery cost is €5/order. We reserve the right to amend delivery costs.
Payment methods and prices
Online banks: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Tapiola, Säästöpankki/POP, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, S-pankki.
Credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Business Eurocard.
Payments are made using Checkout Finland Oy (Business ID 2196606-6) excluding payments via PayPal. Checkout is a safe way to pay, because Checkout Finland Oy has extensive experience of offering payment services, and it has been entered in the payment institutions’ register maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority under the Payment Institutions Act’s transitional provision.
The product prices include 24% VAT. We reserve the right to amend the prices.
Ordering products abroad
Please note that if your order is sent abroad and you wish to return your order, you will be responsible for paying for the return postage.
The customer has 14 days after receiving the order to decide whether to keep the product or return it.
If you wish to return your order, please email customer services at email@example.com and we will send you return instructions. The returned goods must be unused.
Returning goods in Finland is free-of-charge for the customer, but customers in other EU countries and oversees must pay for the return postage. As an exception to this are cases in which the customer abroad has received a wrong or faulty item or when there are other problems with the order. In such a case, we will pay for the return postage. When returning goods, the customer is responsible for the transportation risk.
We will return the payment immediately after we have received and handled the returned order.

In case of an extraordinary event or circumstance which is independent of either party, such as natural disaster, war, general transport disruption or actions by an official which prevent the transaction, Heli Kauhanen is not responsible for problems, delays or hindrances with the order.
Any disputes arising from this agreement, which cannot be resolved through negotiations, shall be resolved in Lahti District Court by applying Finnish law.
